History:

 

Bay View Yacht Club, established in 1905, was aptly named for its stunning views of the Maumee Bay area. Over the years, we have made three significant expansions to our original structure, which was once an old farmhouse. Throughout our rich 120-year history, we have continuously sought to enhance our facilities, proudly living up to our reputation as the “Jewel of Western Lake Erie.” In 1925, Bay View Yacht Club was one of five founding clubs that formed the Associated Yacht Clubs, with the goal of fostering better collaboration among boating enthusiasts. Today, we remain an integral part of the Associated Yacht Clubs, which now includes 32 member clubs, continuing our legacy of promoting camaraderie and exceptional boating experiences.

  • Gas Dock & Pump Out Services - Member Pricing and Discounts

  • Winter Storage & Dockage Services On Premises (Deepest Water in our area & lower rates year-round)

  • Full Bar with light food services (open year-round Monday-Sunday)

  • Seasonal Dockage Available - Weekly rental for Non-Permanent Dock Holders

  • Satellite Television & Wireless Internet Availability

  • Laundry & Shower House Facility - available to ALL members

  • ATM Machine

  • Keno & Ohio Lottery

  • Large Community Grill

  • Spar Tower

  • Clubhouse is available to rent for parties, get-togethers, and other family functions.

  • The clubhouse is accessible to members 24 hours a day.

I Do Not Have A Boat:

Owning a boat is not necessary to join or enjoy the benefits that Bay View Yacht Club has to offer. Members enjoy a club full of fun, friendship, and camaraderie. The next best thing to owning a boat is getting to know friends that have one, at Bay View you will find our members truly make the difference.

  • By becoming a member of Bay View you are a partial owner of the club. That means you have an opinion and vote as to what happens here.

  • We are a member-run club, we exist with members putting in work hours to keep us going and our operational overhead to a minimum.

  • Enjoy our Ship Store - clothing options, drinkware and other club memorabilia are available for purchase.

 

How do I join?

Joining Bay View is very easy. It is as easy as 1-2-3.

  1. Fill out a Membership Application

  2. Provide a $25 Check for the Application Fee and a copy of your Driver’s License or State-Issued Identification Card

  3. Turn it in
     

That is it, you have just taken the first steps to becoming a member of the Bay View Yacht Club
